1. Come to Performing Arts Center during the times posted for auditions. 2. Sign in. 3. You will be called one by one to come to stage, where you will audition your song in front of musical director, director and a neutral casting person. Tell us your name and which song you are singing. Accompanist will be provided and will know all the songs. 4. You may use the sheet music, however we will be looking for facial reactions and some movement. **If going for a major role, you need to memorize and prepare your song. Choose a song that is broadway and upbeat OR choose songs from show that we will include here. 5. You must sing with accompaniment. It will be provided for you. 6. When finished. Stand there for a few seconds. Say Thank you, and exit the stage. If more info is needed, they will stop you. 7. You are finished! Take a deep breath, smile and congratulate yourself on getting through it and doing so well!!

WHAT TO WEAR: Dress in regard to the show. WOMEN, wearing skirts is not a bad idea. Wear comfortable shoes in that allow you have good posture. Pull your hair back from your face. MEN should dress for comfort but not overly baggy. We are looking for men that can sing and move, so keep that in mind. Dress to show off your posture and ability to move.
WHAT TO SING: Music is provided below. You can sing a song of your choice (upbeat broadway song) or one of the songs below. Feel free to print off one or all of the songs. If you are auditioning for a leading role or for Miss Shields, Santa or ensemble, please prepare an up-tempo solo that shows your range and expressiveness while singing.
